Without necessarily choosing to be obscure, the work of contemporary artists is often encountered with some puzzlement by the general public.
The group of artists exhibiting in the Furrowed Browse exhibition at Faith House during Purbeck Arts week this year acknowledge this with some playfulness. In fact the work is not particularly obscure at all, and all are welcome to browse to their hearts content through an exhibition of drawing, film, installation and sculpture in this beautiful setting.
The artists showing in this exhibition all live and work in Dorset and got together for this show after meeting while studying BA Hons Fine Art at Arts Institute in Bournemouth on a part-time basis over 5 years.
