Charcoal and Fire Wood
The sustainable management of the woodland at Holton Lee does provide a small source of wood which is available for sale as firewood.
However, we have recently started to make our own charcoal using traditional methods. This has meant that whilst the amount of timber available for wood burners has decreased, we now have our own sustainable source of charcoal. This is manufactured using traditional methods in a kiln situated within the woodland.
Both of these products are seasonally available, if you are interested in purchasing either wood or charcoal please e-mail or call in advance.
Vegetables
These are available seasonally from the Ashtree Cottage Garden as individual crops or alternatively we can put together different size vegetable boxes depending on what is available. As a natural progression for the Ashtree Cottage Garden we are also hoping to expand into plant sales – please watch this space for further news.
